Wellness prototype · Mobile + web · 12-hour hackathon
Mind Well was our four-person team’s project for a twelve-hour hackathon. We built a mood journal with playlists and audiobooks: somewhere to write about your day, look back at past entries, and find something to listen to.
We entered as Angel Parade and won first place at Hack Infinity 2K24, held at Pallavi Engineering College on 13 December 2024. A few photos from the day, including our team with the trophy.
The journal was the starting point. We put music and audiobooks alongside it, so you could go from a check-in to listening without leaving the app.
A place to record how you feel and write about your day, with past entries available to revisit.
We connected Spotify to bring playlist suggestions into the check-in flow.
An audiobook library you can listen to from the app.
Music and ambient audio for when you want something in the background.
Journal entries and listening history help shape the next set of suggestions.
A mobile app and a web version connected to the same account.
Built as a team prototype during the twelve-hour event.
We made both mobile and web versions, connecting the journal, user profiles, and audio features in the time we had.
Checking in on your mood and finding something to listen to lived in separate apps.
Four of us, twelve hours, as Angel Parade.
The journal comes first; music and audiobooks sit beside it, so a check-in flows into listening.
A mobile app and a web version on one account, with Spotify playlist suggestions.
First place at Hack Infinity 2K24.
